Ways to Prevent Global Warming
Human activities contribute to the excess amounts of greenhouse gases present in our atmosphere, which speeds up the effects of global warming. The impact of some of these activities:
- Emissions from vehicles (cars, planes, boats)
- Pollution emitted from factories and power plants
- Landfills full of non-recyclable garbage
- Usage of non-renewable energy
Replacing a traditional tank water heater with a Noritz tankless water heater will greatly reduce the levels of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere by at least 700 lbs. per year. The climate changes caused by global warming are influenced by the behaviors of the general population - an overall reliance on the burning of fossil fuels for energy. Temperature changes will affect our demand for energy over time, especially during the prolonged warmer months predicted for the future. By reducing the levels of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere from products we use in the home, we will stop the effects of global warming. These ways to prevent global warming are just the beginning, and will lead to a cleaner, safer Earth now and for the future.
